Wilderness Survival Kit
Even a few basics can make your chances of surviving in a wilderness situation that much better.
Wilderness Survival Kit
The first thing you will want is a lightweight backpack; polyester is a durable material yet lightweight and recommended for any wilderness adventures and the wilderness survival kit. The color of the backpack should be a bright color that stands out easily if someone is looking for you. The easier it is for you to be found, the quicker you can receive the help you need. The backpacks are made for children and adults, so that everyone has their own survival ingredients. This is very important for the survival of everyone, who explores the wilderness.
Food and Water - Don't Get Lost Without It
Some of the things you will need in your emergency survival kit are at least a water storage container such as a canteen or even one of those water bottles with its own filter straw and at least six survival food health bars that have all the nutrition you need to stay healthy.
Food and water: the two most important things to have in your wilderness survival kit when enjoying the great outdoors. If you were to get lost, you need to keep up your strength until you find your way back or are found by searchers.
Thermal blankets can also be used to create a survival shelter
Some other things you need in your wilderness survival kit are a solar blanket large enough to can keep you warm during the cooler night air, a compass, a whistle, a mirror for signaling overhead airplanes and a flint striker. You need to keep these things dry, therefore a backpack with a waterproof compartment should keep all the things protected from any water getting to them and making them useless for survival.
You will also need a waterproof poncho that is long enough to cover you if you have to sit down and rest. The other things you need in your wilderness survival kit are a cranking multifunction flashlight that contains a light, a radio, a siren and a cell phone charger all in one. A few other things that you want to have are a fully equipped first aid kit, a survival-hunting knife or a multifunction knife with different gadgets.
"Expect the best, plan for the worst, and prepare to be surprised." - Denis Waitley
Some other things that people have recommended for wilderness survival kits are a walkie-talkie, small radio and gloves and galoshes to keep your hands and feet dry and warm. You can buy a wilderness survival kit or you can make your own by buying all the things you will need.
