![]() The survival stove is meant to cook small things for survival. If you have tin or a small bowl, it will work nice for cooking. If you don’t have a pan, you can use tin foil. Either way, place the cooking container on the top of the can survival stove.

It can take some time to boil water on a stove of this type. There are other ways of distilling water in the wilderness and that is with solar still. You can use the cone shape, pit style and the boxlike solar stills. Although these methods take a long time to produce enough distilled water, solar stills are part of wilderness survival. They are unlike survival can stoves and are only meant for distilling water. The survival cooking stove is important when you are on a wilderness trip. Many times, you are off in an area that you need to find water. This water needs to be boiled in order to be drinkable. This means that you need some sort of packable stove or camping stove to provide you with a method for boiling if you do not have another method of purifying water. |
