Get a good book about edible forest plants
Other methods for identifying plants are books. The most helpful books are those with a description that will help you decipher the appearance of different edible wild plants. A picture will not always suffice when you are trying to discern between two different types of wild plants. Morels are among the most easily identifible mushrooms, and they are also delicious!
